I am a licensed clinical social worker with a deep foundation in both clinical practice and therapeutic research. My career began in assisting with research focused on developing new treatments for veterans struggling with emotion regulation and attention difficulties following mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and PTSD. This work gave me a unique, evidence-based perspective on how trauma impacts the brain and behavior.
I also worked for several years in community mental health across the San Francisco Bay Area, working directly with diverse adults facing complex life challenges. Today, I combine that hands-on experience with my research background to provide practical, grounded therapy for adults navigating anxiety, stress, and trauma. I am also actively expanding my practice to support adolescents, bringing the same rigor and compassion to teens and their families.
Whether you're looking to manage daily stress or process deeper trauma, I'm here to work alongside you with honesty and clear direction.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative, goal-oriented process. While I understand the importance of exploring your past, my focus is on equipping you with the tools you need to handle life today. We will work together to identify specific patterns that are holding you back and develop concrete strategies to move forward.
As a solo practitioner, I offer a consistent and stable therapeutic environment. You will work directly with me throughout your journey, ensuring continuity of care and a deep understanding of your unique history and goals. I am dedicated to providing consistent, high-quality, evidenced-based support.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
